Welcome
students and parents. I am excited to have this opportunity to be your child’s
teacher. This will be a fun and enriching year for all of us. This year in science your child will be
introduced to the physical science topics of Physics, Chemistry, and Astronomy.
We will integrate technology with a traditional lecture and note taking as well
as a variety of hands on activities all designed to cover the 8th
grade California Science Standards.
Make sure you read the Science Class letter. E mail my teacher account lpetrovich@hartdistrict.org that you received and read the letter. Feel free to add any information that will help me help your child have a successful year. If you would like to make a donation to the Science department checks are made out to Rio Norte.
